Bellossom Barettes Tutorial

Description

Someone asked me once (I forget who right at the moment) how I made my flower clips I used for my Bellossom Gijinka cosplay. Needless to say, I was rather flattered. ^^; I had made the originals with the sole intent of being able to reuse my green wig for a future cosplay.

This tutorial is not how I made my first pair. Those were made during a car ride down to a convention and I wished I hadn't been so sloppy during the first time.

I'm much more proud of myself for this second pair, and had a lot of fun making them (FUZZY FLOWER STARS OF DEATH!).

This tutorial, though specifically for the Bellossom flowers, can probably be modified to make any type of hair accessory, like wolf ears or bunny ears. I don't plan on making a tutorial for them yet, but if you'd like to see one for something else, I'd be more than happy to try one.

And before anyone asks, no, I'm probably not going to take commissions for these right at the moment, unless I know you personally. If that changes, I'll let you know.

Yeah, I'm sure they would. Although, you may want to either add a few extra clips, maybe a few bobby pins to the back of the flower or even use a small comb as a means to give the flowers a bit more stability. It probably wouldn't hurt to test out what kind of clips work best in your hair, and then use those as a way to hold the flower in your hair. :D
